Mediaclip partners with global print-on-demand provider Prodigi

Mediaclip, leaders in online photo personalization software, and global print-on-demand provider Prodigi announced a brand-new partnership, offering real-time personalization solutions for enterprise e-commerce stores.

In today’s retail environment, customers have learned they can design what they want, when and where they want it shipped, and how to buy it with a click. Consumer-oriented businesses must adapt to this new behavior, and offering personalizable products on an online platform is a must-have solution.

Mediaclip’s bespoke technology and unique user interface allow users to customize products quickly and easily from any connected device, the company said. Built on an open architecture, its white-label web app is compatible with all major e-commerce platforms and Mediaclip’s own REST API services, according to Mediaclip. Coupled with the software solutions offered by Prodigi, which include Shopify app and print API integrations as well as a global dropshipping network that enables local fulfillment, this partnership will help propel the growth of online businesses, according to company executives.

“We’re recognized worldwide for our leadership in online photo personalization software,” said Marion Duchesne, CEO of Mediaclip. “Our technology simplifies the product customization process, from creative design to print management and its associated e-commerce integration, giving users easy access to the creation of print-on-demand products. Our relationship with Prodigi Group takes this technology to the end customer, facilitating a complete end-to-end production workflow. We’re delighted about the future of this partnership and the value it will provide for our joint customers.”

The solution, developed by Mediaclip’s UX specialists, provides a unique browsing experience designed to help generate additional sales. With built-in photo upload, storage, project management, and save and render tools, plus free automatic updates of the latest features and functionality, its open integration ends allow direct integration to Prodigi and/or supported platforms for a seamless order process flow.

“It just makes sense,” says James Old, founder and CEO of Prodigi. “We opened our first in-house fulfillment center in the USA in 2021 in an effort to help our merchants scale their businesses stateside. Since then, we’ve seen strong growth linked with e-commerce stores based in North America as well as an increase in demand for personalization requests throughout 2022. This, together with our comprehensive range of wall art and photo gift products, makes it one of the largest growing opportunities in the print-on-demand industry.

“Initially, we added our popular temporary tattoos, which are brand-new to the print on demand space thanks to the development of our new, patent-pending technology. More recently, we made our wall art collections available via Mediaclip, including our bestselling gold and silver float framed canvases. This is an exciting partnership for us, and we plan to extend our integrations across our product portfolio range over the coming months.”

This custom-built solution is perfect for enterprise businesses wanting to use print-on-demand and dropshipping services to expand their e-commerce stores while leveraging online customization.

Founded in 2014, Prodigi specializes in the creation and fulfillment of print on demand products. Its proprietary API platform helps online retailers simplify their supply chains and maximize their profits by giving them the tools to print any digital image on any physical product and ship it to anywhere in the world without any involvement in the manufacturing process. Supported by a global fulfillment network and a suite of e-commerce integration solutions, Prodigi’s platform automatically routes orders to the manufacturing facility closest to the end consumer, reducing shipping costs and fulfillment times. This not only saves businesses time and money, but also lowers carbon emissions associated with traditional offshore shipping methods. Prodigi is integrated with more than 50 print facilities in more than 10 countries – including four in-house facilities in the UK, EU and US. Its partners include Disney, Natural History Museum, Wildlife Photographer of the Year, Redbubble and Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew.
